The number of workers who work from an “on-the-go” workstation has been increasing at a rapid pace. Statistics state that workers who travel and work in a non- traditional workspace has increased over 70 percent from 2005 to 2011. (Global Workplace Analytics and the Telework Research Network). Being comfortable and productive while working in a vehicle, hotel room, airport or in a makeshift office can be a challenge. Working in these environments can increase a workers chance of sustaining a musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) to the back, neck, shoulders and upper limbs.
